We are making progress on the veterans clinic
We now have a face to face clinic operating in Whanganui through a local practice providing specialist veterans care. Our clinic currently offers medical and counselling services, together with our affiliates offering neuropsychology and rehabilitation physiotherapy. This is a purpose built facility with modern consulting suites, day stay procedures ward and meeting facilities. We are looking to expand our range of services in 2023 to include point of care ultrasound, EEG and other diagnostic services. Using this backbone we are hoping to leverage the practice services already in place to enable the national veterans clinic. Discussions with the PHO have gone well and we are now looking at the personnel, training, hardware and software requirements to go live in 2023 with a virtual practice that can enrol patients or manage casual consultations.
